OK here's the thing...

We all pay our taxes for the common good. We all (mostly) keep to the speed limit for the common good. We send children to school for the common good. We're happy to do things for the common good.

So why do some people not want to wear masks?

@SW-User people pay taxes to avoid prison, kids go to school because of truancy regulations. No one does anything because of "common good"

@Powderflask I agree. These things are [b]mandatory[/b] for the common good because the average person is literally incapable of caring about faceless millions of others. Our brains have room for close relationships with about 250 people. More than that and it starts getting abstract.
