Anyone else been an innocent victim of mask politics?

I had someone rudely confront me about not wearing a mask in Walmart. I am in no way required to show you my inhaler or the handicapped placard on my truck. Assumptions

No. I wear a mask. That being said, I don't confront others. I just move away from them.

If it's an issue for you, and it will be if you continue to shop inside Walmart's, expect it to continue. Starting today, all stores are mandating all customers wear masks. They've been publicizing for the past week.

@SW-User it is a problem, my main issue was their attitude. You can't harass the handicapped just because of your assumptions.

@Powderflask Unfortunately, that always happened to people before the pandemic too. I have a friend with MS who has gotten yelled at for parking in handicapped spots even though he has the pass hanging off his mirror. They see him walking fine on a good day & yell at him.

If you don't want to get yelled at or asked to leave when it's a store policy, either bring a medical pass with you or better yet, stay home and order online and go to the pick up area. That's what it's there for, people like you with health issues. I don't understand why you'd put yourself at risk when you have compromised lungs.
