I joked about agoraphobia when the lockdown ended - but it turns out it's a
half-true, at least for me.

I'm ready for things to go back to the way they were, but that's not going to happen.
I AM out there with SOME people. Among the places I go, there aren't too many people. And, I always wear my N95 mask.
I don't think I'll see a time before I die when we can stop wearing masks. And I don't think they can come up with an effective vaccine. They can't make one faster than the virus mutates.

Hi 😷😷😷 I cant even bare the thought of masks forever, but I, too, wear mine on the rare occasion of being around people. I’m with you about not coming up with an effective vaccine. Nice to see you.@PhoenixPhail
PhoenixPhail · M
@Kathburglar Always good to see you. 🤗

No! We might move to phase two this coming Monday if all goes well.
SensitiveCha0s · M
I think there should be a transition period. Like.... work two days a week for a month, then three days a week for two months; then four days a week after that. Weekends should eventually be three days long forever after.

@Kathburglar as the only driver of the household, I’ve been going out nearly every day anyway - but the concept of working every day right now seems too foreign a concept.
Kathburglar · F
I get that. I am still just going out for food and to walk the dog. Stay safe out there, please. @SensitiveCha0s
SensitiveCha0s · M
@Kathburglar thank you. You be safe too! Cute eye-catching avatar by the way.
SensitiveCha0s · M
Was just starting to around the time you posted this. It’s a scary time to be honest, because I don’t want to be out there, but I have to be, and to a large degree, most people are being careful.
Kathburglar · F
Since you have to go out, please be careful. I drove to the store today with my long list, but the parking lot was packed, so I decided not to venture in. I hope you and yours have been well, and will stay that way. @SensitiveCha0s

Being a tad introverted has its benefits ...
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Kathburglar true... Mind you it's hard to explain to someone that you prefer your own company to theirs.... They just don't get it🤣
Kathburglar · F
I soooo hear you!@ozgirl512
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Kathburglar there are some minor drawbacks though ...

I know how ya feel ... I’m actually fine staying away from the maddening crowds . 😊.
Kathburglar · F
It’s smart to do that. I, too, go out only when I need to.@SW-User

I think my parents --who are huge extroverts are having a harder time with this then I am.

It sucks! Stay home
Kathburglar · F
It saves on water too... cause I’ve worn these shorts 3 days now. @Selah
Don't go out if you aren't ready!
bijouxbroussard · F
I’ve begun walking again, with a mask and keeping my distance. But I go early, get back home and stay in.
Kathburglar · F
That’s because you’re smart, PLUS you care about other people. @bijouxbroussard

Outside is still a much better option than inside
Kathburglar · F
@strongbow I know outside is supposed to be healthier, but even walking the dog people come too close. Back... I said BACK! 💀
PhoenixPhail · M
@Kathburglar And if you can stay upwind from them, even better, especially when they get too close.
