Seems like an apocalypse. Has the world ever experienced anything this bad? Sure there have been pandemics but this time no continent with a human population has been spared

It's not as bad as the media would like you to believe. The hospitals get extra money if someone has it so as of now all other illness is not happening and everything is considered the virus.
