I don't buy this, sounds like a last-resort attempt to cover a fuck up. Were it bad transposition by the media, there wouldn't have been the need from disinfectant manufacturers and physicians to remember the general population to not inject or drink them.

Understood. But there are plenty of idiots out there that are going to take his "disinfectant" comment as a cure all. It happened before a couple weeks ago and people died. It will happen again. You might say that's a thinning of the herd and it's okay. I don't disagree. But just because people are stupid doesn't mean their death won't affect others.

@Fallflower I don鈥檛 disagree with that but it鈥檚 sad how dumb people can get to think he meant something as trivial as drinking Lysol.

So really it鈥檚 also on the hands of everyone spreading misinformation.

Trump did say that disinfectants injected into the body could possibly clean the lungs. But that doctors and scientists need to look into it.
