I think the lockdown will last for about three months the last big Coronavirus Outbreak in 1918 peaked for two to three months I remember my Grandfather telling me he was only in his twenties all he had was a sore throat whilst millions of people died including one of his neighbours

Population back then was far far thinner and travel was not as extensive as now. They never dreamed of travel as we do now. Not in today's numbers.

@DeWayfarer Even so bearing in mind there wasn't any air travel that Flu Pandemic spread around the world, my Grandfather told me there was a lockdown then people weren't allowed out of their houses this is more or less the same now and China is only now recovering just over three months later, Wikipedia states it mainly affected the young people that contradicts what my Grandfather told me he said it mainly affected the older people I expect Wikipedia has got that wrong on this occasion.

@senghenydd time frames are wrong. We travel far far more massively and further. This is only it's third month and across the world!

China isn't saying everything either. Just from Wuhan

@DeWayfarer Yes it seems to have died back in China considering their very large population they are over the worst of it problem is not enough people have been tested to have a accurate picture of China.
