Well, they were still assembling in a group
That’s against the law right now where I am

Woulda thought it was common sense to not have a choir practice right now
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Rickg it was not on March 6th when they gathered
Rickg · 31-35, M
Well that makes a little more sense @JaggedLittlePill
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Rickg Yea. I found another article about it that I could read.

Page doesn't seem accessible from UK but I hope people's zeal for their practice didn't cost lives as the title seems to imply :(

@PhilDeep try this https://news.yahoo.com/choir-decided-ahead-rehearsal-now-023414705.html

@DestroyerOfIdeologies Thanks, more of the story is visible on that page. There's a link below too that's complete :)

And no one can read this article it has a paywall

This happened March 6th. Very beginning, they had no cases there. Still they should have skipped it.

@JaggedLittlePill Thanks for the link though the story is shocking and very sad :(

We already knew that it is airborne. There is a study out there with its life on certain surfaces and in the air. I believe 3 hours in air. Don't quote me on that

@JaggedLittlePill Yes, I understand there were a few technicalities the experts couldn't agree on at first... Like what's really "airborne" (has to do with the size of the particles they hold onto...)... At first it was thought (hoped) it would only be transmitted if some one coughed or sneezed on you, but it's more subtle than that... It explains the high number of health officials and politicians that now have COVID, I'm sure they took the basic precautions (hand washing etc.)
