I Have Something To Say About Coronavirus / Covid19

I work at a business that has been deemed an essential service, so I’m still seeing and helping the public everyday. I know that people still need to go out to get essentials, and most are in and out quickly, and I’m happy to be able to help, even though it feels a little scary not being able to stay home.

I have noticed this week, that there has been an increase in 16-25 year olds just coming in to look around. They don’t seem to grasp that, as our Prime Minister said...you need to go home and stay home. Going out in a group just to browse in the stores because you are bored is not a good idea.

I think the kids here in the US are finally getting the message to stay home now.

@Keepitsimple hope so. I saw on our local news tonight that non-essential stores and services will be pretty much shut down here for the next few weeks. Don’t know if that will increase our youth’s awareness of the dangers or not.

Not initially. The kids still went on spring break and were laughing about it here. @crystalkid
Someone here was discussing a news story about kids videotaping themselves coughing on produce and posting it on social media. So in some cases with kids, this is the mindset (or lack thereof). Some really don’t grasp the severity of this situation.
