Do you know why social distancing works?

Here is a display to emphasise its importance. The average person transmits covid-19 to about 2.5 people.

The average INFECTED person.

@Quizzical Given that most people here have a confusing array of symptoms, no-one knows whether they are infected or not. Many people when infected are asymptomatic until 2 or 3 days. It is rubbish to demark between infect and non-infected people.

@Zeusdelight If you are infected but do not know it, then you are infected.

If you are not infected then you're simply not infected and cannot infect others.

@Quizzical The question is, if you are infected and do not know it. If you do not social distance you will spread your infection. There are more cases of people who have no idea they are infected occurring. They will infect others if they don't social distance.

@Zeusdelight Well, that I agree with 😁

@Quizzical I see you were attacking my grammar to get a more correct statement. Thanks for that.

@Zeusdelight No, just reminding folks that not everyone is brimming with germs
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@Quizzical Well, not harmful ones anyway:)
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Zeusdelight Hopefully not, lol

@Quizzical Well we have all sorts of bacteria in our bodies that could do us harm if they could went out of balance.

We have serious chemicals in our body eg an acid ph of around 2 in our stomach. If that escaped we'd all be in serious trouble.

There are more microbes living on our skin right at this moment, than humans in the world:)

But thankfully, whether it be evolution or God's creativity or a combination of both, our bodies are pretty well designed.
