There's always going to be something

SW-User
Maybe.

I am taking extra care because this affects elderly and people with respiratory issues. I have both of those people in my immediate life.

The message is as clear as it always is. Wash your hands, people.

@lilangel always after a restroom break or before cooking (working in the kitchen).

At work now... I wash before and after I use public items, especially in the kitchen. I’ll even grab a wipe and wipe stuff down if waiting for coffee.

I didn’t use to wipe down the shopping basket when I go to the grocery store but I am doing that too.

@lilangel for your sake... just make sure you wash before you touch your eyes or mouth.

There are some people who always catch it. I have to imagine that flight attendants can’t help but to get sick with everything that comes out.

Compared to other viruses and if there are no changes in the policies to contain the outbreak, yes.
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
It already has, we are just waiting to see how extensive it is when testing is more widely available.
The numbers are suggesting no big breakout in the US ... it will be Europe

Spring is rapidly arriving in North America ... we have less than 100 US community cases ... even at a geometric rate ... spring arrives first

Europe has 4,000+ cases growing at rates above geometric and Spring occurs later
i think it won't
SW-User
Yes, I would bet on it

Centers for Disease control says it isn't a matter of if but when it reaches the U.S. and that it is suspected to spread all over the U.S.

Rapidly or not, I gotta go back and read

@SW-User It's already here.

The more cases start appearing undetected because of the long incubation period can start to become problematic and outbreaks can become probable...

Yeah I think so. But waaaaaycmore people die from the flu!
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Considering we seem to be refusing to test patients who may have it, I suspect there are many cases that are unreported already. It is a shit show.

Sure.. why not.. good a place as any.

Only by word of mouth....
