I Wish Cancer Didnt Exist

my wife just got diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday luckily it isn't to far developed or i would be muc hmore worried than i am. but treatment is still going to be expensive. we have four kids and we haven't told them yet i wonder when if ever we will. i feel like they are all too young to understand.

Well, would you hide the fact that you or your wife is sick for other reasons? I say tell them if they ask, and certainly do not hide it from them. There are many cancers that can be cured. I have dealt with cancer, as has my wife. It is part of life.

of course i wouldn't hide it from them. just i don't think we need to tell them about it at least not now.
