The alt right has really done damage

That they don't even realize.

My old man coworker has prostrate cancer. The dr told him that it wasn't aggressive and that they would monitor it.

Another coworker who also had prostrate cancer and went through chemo said he was taking ivermectin and Doterra essential oils to keep it in remission. 🤦‍♀ The essential oils are virtually worthless and other than the placebo effect, have no baring on cancers. The ivermectin hasn't had enough study either way and should be taken under a Dr's consult, which it hasn't been.

So my old man coworker sees how happy and healthy the othet coworker looks, forgetting that he just finished his 2nd round of chemo and just retired, which took a lot of the stress off him and his body. He looks healthy and happy because he made some life changes that led to it. He is also just a very positive person overall, which helps.

He hears that the other coworker is taking ivermectin. He has been panicking over the cancer, so he decides to start taking it. On top of that, he is also taking fenbendazole, another drug that has not been tested on humans, has been shown to potentially increase cancer growth in mice and is nit prescribed by doctors. And, of course, he is buying these online, so who knows what he is actually taking.

I know that anything with a "fen" in the name is generally not good for the heart. These two drugs on their own can cause the liver to become toxic, can cause blood pressure issues as well as intestinal issues because they are anti-parasitic drugs for animals. But since Covid, ivermectin has been the alt right miracle drug.

I worry about the health of both these men. They are dangerously flirting with things that they can't tell their dr they are using, otherwise, the dr would stop seei g them. Theu are putting themselves at risk for zero reason other than wishful thinking these drugs will work. And I would hate to lose either one of them in my life, but they won't be convinced their actions could cost them their lives. The fear of cancer is worth it to them to believe myths and fabrications.

This reality makes me sad that so many idiots have literally put lives at risk.

I was diagnosed with the early stages of prostate cancer about 7 yrs ago. They performed a radical prostatectomy on me and surgically removed the entire organ (I was 68 at the time). My grandfather died of this cancer and my father also got it but died of something else first. So far, thanks be to God, I have had no cancer and am in pretty good health. I even still work. Thanks for sharing these poor men’s story. I will pray for them!

@Thorstormbringer I am glad that you survived cancer, as did I some years ago. You mentioned, "So far, thanks be to God, I have had no cancer and am in pretty good health. I even still work." I am glad for that also, but if you are thanking God for your good health, who should you thank for giving you cancer in the first place?

I don't mean to be provocative, and I am glad that you are healthy now, but people thank God when they survive, but they don't think of Him when they receive their diagnosis. When I survived cancer a lot of people told me I should thank God I survived it, and I kept my comments to myself, but I found it very hurtful to hear people say that to me. I lost my wife to cancer, and I almost died of it myself, and I wondered why my thanks should go to God at all?

But, to each their own.

@Realifecuckold I concur.

I cannot imagine the anxiety that these crazies are causing. It sounds awful.

(By the way it's prostate cancer. Lots of my friends get it wrong)

@FreddieUK Was writing on the fly with little spell check..thanks!

And yeah, i do worry about how many people's lives have been cut short due to their quakery beliefs.

This is why you need a properly regulated drug body.
And the sellers of this stuff should go to prison for peddling poisons.

I hope they'll be ok.

@Picklebobble2 I agree! I hope they will be too.❤

@Livingwell I know. The anti-vax movement has done so much damage, all because they feel that having autism (which isn't even caused by vaccines) is worse than having a dead or physically impaired child. I just don't understand that mentality.

Then the whole not wearing masks simply because the government mandated it, which...was their own guy, but let's blame the CDC for the president creating a mandate because Fauci is looking for power. (If Fauci wanted power, as an immunologist, I'm not even sure how he'd get that) And they bought that lie as well even though Fauci had no power to create any policy or mandate.

These people are insane and they are literally killing people with their stupidity. It's so frustrating.
@Livingwell Prime example: during the Texas measles outbreak, instead of using the immense power and resources of the Dept of HHS, RFK, Jr promoted his “alternate therapy” (which did not prevent or effectively treat even a single case of measles) that consisted of vitamin A supplements, cod liver oil, chicken soup, and God only knows what else which caused a spike in children being admitted to the hospitals with liver dysfunction & failure from acute vitamin A toxicity! A condition virtually unheard of in the modern world.

Vitamin A toxicity is arguably a more serious health threat than measles. Permanent liver failure, convulsions, and deaths can occur.

What any reasonable head of HHS would have done would have been to engage with leaders of the Mennonite community (who are “officially neutral” on vaccinations) to encourage their members to vaccinate everyone who was susceptible to measles with the safe, highly effective, and free MMR vaccine.

And the REAL INSANITY is that Kennedy has not been fired nor forced to resign!

After the disastrous recent hearing, the Senate should have held a Vote of No Confidence where every single Senators’ vote was recorded and made available!

Why the HELL didn’t they?

Unfortunately, fear causes people to do many awful things to others....and even themselves.

Ivermectin is for horses. It is not for people.
@Realifecuckold Ivermectin kills parasites by disrupting their nerves and muscles. Its only approved uses in humans are for: Strongyloidiasis of the intestinal tract and Onchocerciasis, also called river blindness. Do not take ivermectin unless it has been prescribed to you by a healthcare provider. Take it only as prescribed and never share it with another person even if they have the same symptoms that you have.

Serious allergic reactions are possible complications as well as a host of other side effects—it can be deadly.

The uses of Ivermectin being promoted on social media by charlatans such as RFK, Jr are not supported by any valid research. Don’t be misled.

Best not to get it at all!
@FoxyQueen Very true of prostate cancer and it actually spans the globe. There is one well know quack in the Philippines who markets a “cure” for various cancers including prostate. His cure has no benefit forany type of cancer, but is very effective for separating desperate people from their life savings.
