So Tonight it Became Real
They ran the test for my mom's cancer. It is stage IV, the most aggressive kind. She starts chemo now. It doesn't look good. She'll be on chemo for the rest of her life, which may only be another year-and-a-half or less. I've been pretty hopeful until now. I was just not expecting it to be bad news. But tonight it was bad news.
