be strong and confident ... do what you can for her.
then fall apart. but do not let anyone give you that template garbage and never let them say to you "this isn't about you"
death is hard.
(lost my wife last year to cancer. she was everything to me. i just did what i could, by her side til the end and always told her i wasn't going anywhere that i had no other place to be and i'm sticking by her side no matter. i did it, it was hard as hell to do also.)
but, remember do not let folks tell you how it is. you work along as best as you can, if you think you need a lil help, look for those who you confide in deepest.
