I Am a Cancer Survivor

Well...I guess I did it guys! I found out this week, from my radiologist, that my surgeon got all the cancer 😊
Radiology is for prevention. I’m not keen on it but whatever increases my chances of living I’m ok with. I’m also facing more prescription drugs and months more of IV medications.
I’m still recovering from surgery (mastectomy) but it’s mostly the byproduct which is the painful drains coming out of my skin from under my arm. They’re necessary to remove the fluid that builds up after certain surgeries. It’ll be three weeks of having these things in and I’ll be relieved on Monday when they come out.
Thanksgiving this year (and Christmas) will be extremely emotional this year ❤️
