I can’t

The doctor prescribed 30mg of Escitalopram for depression and Panadeine forte for the back injury. The med's did not react well together. They made me very sleepy, like putting me to sleep 16 hours a day.
So I could only take the Panadeine when I had the day off the next day. The Escitalopram had other side effects: Made me very giggly and prevented me from ejaculating. So after a month I was Giggly idiot with a constant hard-on. Not a good look for someone who is a Palliative Care Nurse. So I stopped taking both. And it was like being electrocuted with an iron brand for awhile.

I suggest speaking with your doctor about this, possibly for a change in medication.

Never a good idea to cold turkey those meds.
I forgot for a few days consecutively maybe a week ago and had a pretty major manic episode. 🤷🏾 I almost forgot what I was like without the meds... That crackhead energy.

I stopped taking my meds of my own accord. I thought I was better and no longer needed them. I was wrong, and it made me worse. I'm back on them now and getting there

Taper them down. Don't do it suddenly. Brain chemistry. It may be screwed up for quite some time depending on how long you've been taking the drugs, but do the taper to give it (your brain) at least half a chance.
