Recovery update

Been home for a few days now. Recovery is… well it’s going. Still have serious mobility issues and pain is still bad. Still having insurance issues but went to JFS to handle it for a second time in the last 2 months. I cannot drive in my condition but was able to get a ride from a friend. It took awhile for me to do the stairs to get to the car and getting into the car. The walker helps but I move slowly. Back brace helps some as well. I had to sit for 40 minutes in queue and my pain was nearly unbearable. (I can last about 15 minutes) and standing about 30 minutes to give all the paperwork to be scanned in. It was horrible. The man was very helpful. Put a rush on the insurance coz I did my renewal months ago and for some reason my kids are covered but not me. I hope it’s handled before my PCP appointment or else I have to pay out of pocket and I cannot afford it. I cannot do physical therapy without the insurance either. I did submit my work exemption until I recover or else I lose food benefits and I need that. Unfortunately my fmla is unpaid and I cannot get any financial assistance so I’m not sure what to do there. They help with bills and rent only if there is a notice or a shutoff happening. My gofund me is super dry so that’s no go. My savings are almost gone. I am in a lot of pain even with my medication, and I try to move as much as I can. But it’s difficult. My kids have been so sweet and very helpful. Family has only asked how I’m doing once or twice. They are always wrapped up in their own life. I feel very lonely. I’m doing. My best and I think I’ve been pushing myself too hard too fast because last 2 days the pain has been tenfold so I’m trying to relax today. I didn’t sleep last couple of days and I am more depressed than ever.
