I am just stopping in today

for a quick update. I am doing really well with the detox process. 🙂

My moods have not been crazy, but I was pretty tired the first few days, and last night I felt like I couldn't breathe well. This morning I feel great, though. 🙂

I have been able to give up my diuretics and all the stimulants that I have basically lived on and depended on to get me through each and every day, for most of my adult life. Vivarin and Pseudoephedrine. So, that is a huge plus.👍

These are the supplements I'm taking daily right now.

Fish Oil- 4,800mg
D3 5,000IU,
K2 100mcg
Choline bitartrate 500mg,
Magnesium glycinate 500mg
Methyl folate 7.5mg
Biotin 10,000 mcg
Vitamin C 150mg
Thiamin hci 100mg
Riboflavin 5 phosphate 20mg
B6 20mg,
Methylcobalamin 6,000mg
S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) 400 mg,
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1,000
TMG (trimethylglycine or betaine)1,000mg
L-theanine 200 mg, daily
And every second day, I take vitamin E 268mg

This is a lot of supplements for sure, and my family teases me that these are my breakfast meal, but the difference so far is amazing. My journal entry from yesterday explains this better..🙂

"Today is Valentine's Day, and I have been in detox since February 10th.
Today, I noticed a great improvement in my skin noteably the collagen has improved.
My skin has gotten plumper, and my wrinkles are receding on my face.
My hands look wonderful. No more crepey skin.

I have had great changes in my appetite control and being able to tell when I'm full. I am not nearly as hungry as usual, and I am not thinking about what I want to eat next while I am still eating. I get my normal servings, but I can only eat about half as much.

My cognitive processes seem to be improving a little, too.

According to my research, it will take months before I am completely detoxed because my body hasn't ever really been able to detox.

I still feel really yucky from detox, but these wonderful early improvements are keeping me highly motivated to keep up with supporting my methylation cycle for life.

Today is a wonderful day."

Anyway, my short update has gotten pretty long. I will check back in a day or two. I hope everyone here is having a wonderful Sunday!

UPDATE-I guess I jumped the gun on stopping my duretics. My right leg from the knee to the ankle swelled up tonight, and I had to restart my diuretics. I guess my heart is more damaged than I thought it was. I won't be able to find out how damaged until I can get on insurance when I am 65. So, in 5 years, if I make it that long, I am pretty sure heart failure will be confirmed. It is ok, I am doing all I can right now to slow the progression, and that is all I can do. I guess tonight was just one more wake-up call for me. It was kinda dumb of me to think I could have all the risk factors for heart failure and not actually have heart failure. Many other things are still getting better, though, so I'm not going to let this get me too far down.👍

Well, it appears that what happened with the swelling is called overmethylation. These are the symptoms of overmethylation.🫤

I have now dropped
S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) 400 mg,
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1,000
TMG (trimethylglycine or betaine)1,000mg

and I hope to feel better soon.😵‍💫
