You toughed it out man. Now go sleep

Pneumonia is a secondary infection.
It usually happens as a result of a flu or cold complication and the virus spreads into the lungs.

I don't wanna harp on about this. But its quite serious.
If your body didnt fight it off as a cold, then your immune system is already struggling with it - hence why youve been given antibiotics.

I really cant stress enough how important it is that you do everything you can to fight the infection now.

Coz if it moves to a stage three infection.... you'll be hospitalized.

🤷‍♀

Im sorry for being a nag about this....but im dead serious.
If you were my friend id being doing my nut at you for going to work when you should be in bed.

@OogieBoogie it's good to make sure he understands... :)
He needs to take better care. It's serious. It affects everyone differently but it still is very serious.
I ended up unable to walk almost as my respiratory wouldn't support me any longer. Eventually I recovered but was a few difficult months. But I have had a history of weak respiratory. Until then.
That totally aided in me shifting perspective. I thought I'd die and doctors weren't reassuring. I know it needs to be taken care of, before it takes over, that's how viruses operate..
@Boeing its so easy to take health for granted while you have it.

Its good you took note and used it as a stepping stone to be more proactive for your body.

the energy is required by your body to heal and it is not the right time to invest your energy to something else... Your body needs every ounce of energy right now for itself... Pneumonia is a badass. Take care my friend, I hope you can rest during the weekend.....

@OogieBoogie I know. I try, but once again, sleep pretty much eluded me. I'm grateful to have gotten the five hours that I did get.
@HowtoDestroyAngels it's not just about sleep.

Every bit of energy you use doing something else, your body doesnt get to put towards fighting the infection.

Antibiotics arent there to do it for you..... they are there to help support your immune system to fight it and not let it degrade to more serious life threatening complications.

People die from pneumonia.
If it spreads to double pneumonia you will be struggling to breath.

It can affect organs, cause sepsis, pleurisy....and way worse.

Im not you. But i wouldn't fuck around with it.

I'd be in bed, with fluids, getting as much rest as possible🤷‍♀
