I have Familial Dysbetalipoproteinemia

and Familial Hypertriglyceridemia, and I have a feeling that these two conditions ( as well as many others) are somehow linked to the MTHFR variants.🤔

I have gotten my cholesterol down to high normal levels, but my triglycerides are more stubborn.

Add about 2 tsp apple cider vinegar to meals that contain fat. Start eating extra-virgin olive oil all the time, but don't heat it. Add it after things are cooked. A great way to do this is on salads. Salads are low-carb, low-saturated fat... but that's not what makes me them so healthy. It's the quality of vinaigrette. This will drive down triglicerides and raise HDL (good cholesterol) which eats up LDL.

Good luck!
