Day 5 Post-OP

infection still present. only 2 visitors allowed at a time. not allowed to leave my room and anyone entering must wear a gown, mask and surgical cap. last time I had cooties I was 6. no PT today and being seen by one of the hospitalists. Cathy brought me coffee and a blueberry muffin this morning. guess I'll skip hospital breakfast. if you're tired of my updates let me know and I'll either stop or block you. have a great day all

@TexChik Doc says they're common after hip surgery. another concern is when the bone breaks near the ball of the leg blood is cut off and the ball dies leading to a hip replacement. so far everything looks good

@saragoodtimes yep i saw that fracture and the giant screw in your femoral head on your x ray. Im glad the docs are happy. 😊

@TexChik my surgeon handles 2 college teams in the city and the Double A baseball team of the Phillies. seems like he takes a conservative approach to injuries
