Sometimes we take life for granit.

Over the weekend I started getting sick. By Sunday night I had it full bore. Today I went to the doctor. She thought I had Covid so she tested me. Turned out to be the flu. At home we have a living room and a family room. The wife banished me from the family room telling me to keep my germs to myself. Lol!!! I can't tell you how nice it felt to come home to a house that is paid for knowing I can rest and get better with no one telling me to go work or lose my house or starve. Even though I feel sick, have a fever and can't breathe I truly feel blessed 😊

Sorry to hear that. I think medical grade Manuka honey might help if you had some of that.

@cherokeepatti I have never even heard of it.

@Musicman Was recommended to me by someone whose brother also was fighting colon cancer. It helps with the inflammation in the intestines. Also a powerful germ fighter. Ray ordered me a jar of it, he had a sore throat and opened up the jar and took a small spoon of it to taste it. His sore throat went away within a few hours. It’s imported from New Zealand and really expensive but it sure works well. We got one of the highest grades 925, (they have a number rating on the jars) so it would be more powerful. Have reordered it twice since getting it.

@cherokeepatti That's fabulous! How expensive is expensive?

@Musicman They have a sale on Amazon for $59 for a 4 ounce jar right now at Manuka Doctor for a 925 rated Manuka honey. It is normally $75. You can get it for less if you have Prime.
@cherokeepatti My oldest brother has been on the colloidal silver kick since the 80's, I'm surprised he hasn't turned into a Smurf.

@NativePortlander1970 I take that too but not all the time. Some people will overdo anything. It’s not good to for your gut health to use it internally for a long time because it can deplete healthy gut bacteria if you do. Very good on cuts and scrapes. I have used it on Rhubarb after an attack by the neighborhood bully cat. Had an infected paw that was really swollen. Put concentrated colloidal silver in the food dish and the next day the swelling was almost gone. Rhubarb had gotten sick from the pain of it.
@cherokeepatti For my 46th birthday, after my second bout of blood clots, he gave me a one troy ounce Buffalo silver coin and plans for a generator to make my own, I told him I wasn't into turning blue from it and just kept the coin in its sleeve and is in one of my many wooden cigar boxes I have for small stuff. Have You heard of the Blue People of Kentucky? Apparently a nearby water source is more alkaline than normal and leeched silver from a nearby mine into it.

@NativePortlander1970 You would either have to pour it into your sinuses every day for months or years or drink copious amounts of it to turn blue. I am not blue and have used it when needed for 30 years now. I put a drop of the concentrate in the bird’s water when they get sick and it helps to turn them around quickly.
