Can I ask why you're working whilst on medication for a brain tumor? Is it from necessity or just your choice to carry on working?

@Richard65 Hi. The proper name for this tumor is a pituitary adenoma. This is a benign tumor lodged in the pituitary gland of the brain. It's not affecting my ability to PHYSICALLY function at all. However, it's affecting the production of key hormones, and it's also sitting pretty behind my optical nerve. The hope is that this medication will help shrink the tumor thus enabling me to avoid surgery. I will not know for a few more weeks if it's working when I go in for a follow-up MRI and more blood work.

I can understand you feeling a bit off with the reality world.
And let's be honest, it's hard enough trying to deal with all that even if you're fit and well !
It's no self indulgence to cut yourself a break from it.
