Still here!!!

On 8-11 @ 11:16 am tingling started at my fingertips and went to my elbows....my hands then worked but not easily. Next I felt like my mouth was full of mashed potatoes. Called 911...they had an ambulance here within 7 minutes. EMS diagnosed me with TIA. Loaded me up and headed to the hospital. I was back to normal before arriving at said hospital. Got admitted and they ran every test they needed.
Had 3 different Dr.s give their assessments. 1...TIA...2...stroke...3...heart attack. On 8-12 was told I had 70% blockage in LAD artery and had stent that afternoon. On 8-13 vascular Dr. scheduled carotid surgery for 8-15...80% blockage. Finally came home 8-17...all fixed. Now just need to heal up.

Good to know that you are getting better. If you don’t mind the question, how much would your medical bill have been if you didn’t have insurance? I’m in England and we hear horror stories about medical costs in the U.S.
