What the Doctor said...

Today I had my second 6-month after surgery cancer screening/tests completed. I knew it was going to be good news, but still, I was as nervous as could be sitting in the waiting room for the doctor to call me.

100% clear, CT scan clear, blood work clear and I was out of there dancing a jig! Which, if you had ever seen me do, you would likely be laughing as hard as those who saw me today.

I might even be nice to the hecklers on here today.

@Mamapolo2016 On a day-to-day basis, I have pretty much put cancer out of my mind, but on the test day... yikes! When I got home I was still on a high and had to share.
@Ontheroad My brother is just now dealing with possibly devastating news, PET scan on 8/5.

@Mamapolo2016 I sure hope it turns out to be good news. If not, the advances medical science has made in treatment are amazing. I wish him, and you, the best of luck. Cancer is no fun.
@Ontheroad He's had a grueling battle already - prostate and bladder removed, and now a rapidly tripling PSA.

@Mamapolo2016 Ouch, the tripling PSA is not a good sign. I spent a couple of years fighting mine, but I won in the end. Keep the faith!
@Ontheroad We are.
