When a mentally ill person is trying to comfort you and your own family doesn't it means humanity is in the toilet?

@SW-User they told me they've been diagnosed by a psychiatrist that said they have a mental illness that causes them to see things that aren't there plus they killed a rabbit for no reason and admitted it.
