It's one reason I live in the suburbs on the edge of rural, no congestion, low noise, surrounded by nature, parks, trails, mostly a demographic similar to my values, yet close to city amenities. I have a 10 minute bike ride to the beach, surrounded by hiking and biking trails. 10 golf courses with 10 minute car drive... a very healthy quality of life for the body and mind.
