Covid. Definitely. Lost my FIL to it and being immune compromised, I felt I was playing a dangerous game every time I came into close contact with others. Took me a very long time to be okay with getting the vaccine though solely because feeling physical sensations, something vaccines can hit you with, awakens panic attacks within me. It’s a hell right up there with Covid for me. But unlike Covid, I feel like I have a way better shot at kicking anxiety’s ass…and anxiety won’t kill me. Big plus there. My gut tells me I won’t survive a bout of Covid and I owe my husband, my kids, and myself the opportunity to live this life as long as I can, and for me getting the vaccine helps ease my mind about that. Even if I get infected after being vaccinated, I can be at peace knowing I did everything I could to prevent tragedy.

@acupaday I understand. My rheumatologist told me he didn’t think I would survive if I got Covid. I am vaccinated but the doctors don’t know how well my immune system will respond. I am so sorry for your loss too 💞.

@iamonfire696 I think that’s the scariest part…it’s unpredictability for each of us. Stay safe out there. And thank you 🙏🏻
