I do not trust genetic engineers. I have the feeling that they have very good intentions but I do not believe that we are aware of all of the hazards gmo foods might have.

@JaggedLittlePill: Maybe no known hazards, but it is the unknown that is scary. It is worth saying that people have been manipulating genetics in their food for millennia. Selecting for things we like or creating hybrids are tinkering with the natural genetic composition.

@daveal: Yes, and I enjoy hybrids because hybrids do occur naturally. But, forcing genes from animals into plants is Most Unnatural and I do not think that we should eat it!
