I don’t drink, smoke, or do recreational drugs

I don’t see the point. Even drinking moderately with a meal on occasion I don’t do anymore. I acted dumb with alcohol even a glass of light wine and it’s not good to mix with my medications. I never smoked or did recreational drugs. I also don’t like partying or anything like that. I don’t go to clubs or bars. That’s not and never has been my scene. I’m pretty conservative in my lifestyle choices and like it that way.

I used to be a bit of a party animal, and still enjoy the occasional evening in the pub. I like cask-conditioned, aka 'real', ale; the occasional glass of wine and even more rarely a "wee dram".

I've only ever had one cigarette in my life, and never wanted to try illegal drugs - in fact never knew how and where to buy them.

Sounds like you made the best decision for you. I did the same many years ago.
