Unbeliveable!! Taliban completely Eradicated Heron/Drugs production

@NativePortlander1970 not really. Taliban was always against opium production. The opposing Mujahedeen and local warlords grew poppy and The Taliban would eradicate them. The Taliban had used seized opium in small amounts to raise funds but they never promoted or as actively participated in production.

The most they ever really did was collect some fees from smugglers. The Taliban was never really part of the opium trade and actively fought it against it from the start

@MethDozer So, the United States has banned drugs since the early 1900's, that still didn't stop their own trafficking, specially after the CIA came into existence
