Absolutely! 100%!
@Lilyb I know someone in real life who’s text messages are always gobbledygook and I have a hard time trying g to decor what they are trying to say…very frustrating

Typos no, not a turnoff in casual conversations. Some people just aren’t the greatest at typing and/or don’t feel the need for perfect spelling. I’m okay with that.

Limited vocabulary would depend more on the situation.
@OlderSometimesWiser “Edited” just screams “THIS PERSON MADE A MISTAKE ON THEIR FIRST ATTEMPT AND IS TRYING TO COVER IT UP BUT WE ALL KNOW BETTER!”
@OlderSometimesWiser very clever…there are no typos you can be blamed for with a gif

If I was completely perfect, I would pick the first however I am not. I would take the goober over Mr. Wrong any day😒
@LilPrincess I’ve yet to meet the perfect person, probably see a 🦄 before that happens

It does bother me when it's actual English speaking and educated people that write like this, "Oh, man, I be went to the store and da bro at da check-out be fked me out of ma coin. Dat sum ish"! It's irritating and a huge turn off! Otherwise, on sites like this, I never judge people, because I never know what people have English as a first language. To me, it's amazing how well people that aren't really native to English write and comprehend it.
@WizardofOz very true, I feel like such a slug for only knowing English

You assume that people here are "turned on" by adequate use of the English language. For my part, while I find misspellings annoying, and while they often make me feel the person perpetrating the misspelling is stupid, such is not the case when English is the second language.
@4meAndyou true, we should be grateful to people for whom English isn’t a first or even second language, for making an effort here
Sweetpoison · 36-40, F
@Sweetpoison I will be very very careful when conversing with yuo 😬
Northwest · M
Typos are unavoidable, a limited vocabulary is a different story.
@Northwest although someone here did point out that English may not be their first language
Northwest · M
@Ghostinthemachine English? My answer was relative to the person’s native tongue.
Lilymoon · F
I hate to admit it but yes although I realize it's unavoidable at times 😬
@Lilymoon we all make mistakes but it does get frustrating when someone constantly makes them and doesn’t correct or clarify
Are we talking about native language, or also foreign languages?
