I Don't Need Drugs and Alcohol to Have Fun
I hate drugs and alcohol because it broke up my family. Growing up my mom and dad both used both drugs and alcohol. Mom used more than dad but drugs and alcohol was always present.
At an early, age I had to learn how to cook, clean, shop and pay bills. By the time I was 10 I could balance a checkbook, write checks, purchase money orders, cook, clean and go food shopping. I also did the laundry, We cannot forget about the laundry.
I refuse to get into a relationship with someone who has a drug or alcohol issue. Once I find out someone that I am interested in has that issue it is over.
Some would say that I am being judgemental, but I'm not. I just don't want to have to deal with that situation again. I know how this ends. And it doesn't end on a good note.
