With climate change, extreme summer droughts, heat waves and resulting forest fires are becoming the new normal in many countries.
Heat waves and droughts also mean that many crops can’t be grown so the price of food goes up because of the shortage.
Heatwaves also cause forest fires which increase smoke pollution across many cities.
