I Do Not Drink Alcohol

I just do not care about drinking alcohol. I never have. I've tried it and some drinks aren't bad, but everyone I've been around who does drink I prefer sober. Maybe I've had bad luck but all of them have been nicer and better people when sober. Some of them have been down right nasty and mean. I'd rather not be that person for someone else, so thanks but no thanks.

I can understand why, I wish I didn't drink or feel like I had to, too socialise. Alcohol can be a nasty drug and people underplay how bad it is just because of it being legal. I drink myself on weekends and have drunk very heavily in the past. It can bring out the worst qualities In some people, others have no problem drinking and not becoming anti-social. I find I just become to naïve and talkative when I drink but some people can turn into obnoxious arseholes after a couple drinks

@JoMalho I did that for over 20 years...let me tell you a truth...the people I drank and partied with all that time disappeared when I stopped drinking which woke me up to the fact that they were JUST party/drinking friends...so many people I know have had the same experience. Please don't throw decades of your life away

Alcohol is a horrible drug. Pot isn't great for the body, but it's a lot better than alcohol. I don't drink at all, either.

@Fernie Usually, as with many things in nature, if it lifts you up it's going to bring you down and it does to many the next morning. Unless you consume it again, then you're fine. Anyways i'm not really into arguing mode.

@PhoenixPhail Smoking anything is bad for your lungs...weed the least dangerous. I have to agree with you about the Medical weed...I HATE IT!!!! I am sad it's been legalized...the gov't owns it now...too expensive, too strong, NO SEEDS... which suks because now we can grow our own but finding seeds has suddenly become impossible unless you buy them online for 9-50 bucks per seed. I can't find a "street vendor" anymore who sells a reasonably priced bag with some seeds in it...they are once again criminals...I know I went off here but it is bugging the crap out of me...how I miss the 60's
