Do you stock up on the staples you need for existence?

We have supplies here of pasta 🍝 and rice 🌾 and tinned tomatoes 🥫 as well as tinned meat 🍖 in order to forestall any shortages in the shops. We also have five litre bottles of mineral water and tins of spinach and 🫛 peas, as well as corn 🌽 and carrots 🥕, so that even if the shops remain closed we have enough food for a month or two! Yes, it will involve rationing to some degree, but if there are strikes or wars we will be relatively safe.

Yes, we have wine 🍷 and grappa, as well so we have the means of self sufficiency behind locked doors in our cool store pantry.
