The American conglomerate that now owns once-British chocolates-maker Cadbury's? The same firm that lied that it would not make anyone redundant - as it closed the Bristol factory almost soon as it moved in?
A lot of UK food manufacturers use oil from rape-seed or sunflowers, both cultivated in Britain, not palm-oil.
However we cannot say we are not told because by law, all ingredients have to be listed on the label.
A foreign manufacturer has no loyalty to the nation hosting its factories; and is unlikely to care about its sources.
