have a garden grow tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and cukes. my fig tree provides plenty every year. nothing beats a fresh fig as a treat

I have a small plot of corn. The fence cost $7 per stake and $40 per 25 feet of chicken wire. The seed was $2. I planted 30 hills. The fertilizer was left over.

Yeah...I TRIED that. I wanted it to be an all organic garden. Can I just say it is more work than I EVER dreamed...and the BUGS...boy did they love my veggies. The organic border of Marigolds didn't even slow them down. And my veggies were pathetic...VERY small.
