I'm not allowed a lot of bread since I was diagnosed with diabetes - but I wish I could survive on bread

There was a time that I was borderline diabetic. From then on, I skipped everything sugary. I switched to citrus fruits instead. Lemon and lime became parts of my drinks. Then last October, I had labs and it showed I'm cleared.
