Who else on here had ground kangeroo meat before

I tried to eat it once, but it kept jumping off the plate. 🤭

This is going back a VERY long time. But there was a kangaroo meat scandal in our state with Minced Kangaroo being added to minced beef at a few local packing plants, one of which we bought from back then. Of course we never knew. I was sold as minced beef. And it was good mince too.😷

When my dog was getting old she started getting some stomach problems and sometimes didn't want to eat. The vet told us to try some different foods to see if that was the problem. We eventually tried giving her some (pretty expensive) imported tinned food made from kangaroo meat. She liked it so much that she refused to eat anything else afterwards. So we had to give her kangaroo at every meal for about 6 years until she passed way away.

I wouldn't try kangaroo meat.
