What's natural sugar in jam? Do you mean fructose in fruits? It's negligible, the problem might be regular processed white sugar with pectin in it and depends on how much of it is in the jam. My parents make 1:1 or 1:2, 1 kg of sugar and either 1 or 2 kg of fruits.
I see no problem having a plain white yogurt with a few tea spoons of jam in it, especially if you have 1:2 jam. Definitely less fattening than a pastry or commercial cereals with added sugar.
But if the issue is sugar like for example for someone with diabetes, then jams should be probably avoided.
