@OogieBoogie from the time I can remember my aunt kept pushing liver on me. I think when I was 3 she told me to stick my tongue out and i did and she put a piece of fried chicken liver on it and I stuck my tongue back out and refused to chew it and said “Dirty Meat!” That’s what I called it because I had several nosebleeds and it reminded me of the taste of blood.

@cherokeepatti My grandma used to make us eat liver too it was terrible.

@SlippingAway I couldn’t. I think I would have thrown up. When I called it Dirty Meat she stopped pushing it on me. Tried a new recipe when I was a teen called Liver Hash and my sisters liked it but I wouldn’t eat a bite.

@SlippingAway there was a Rottweiler at the car lot and he would scarf just about anything I gave him. My boss was anemic and started buying chicken livers and grilling them on a kebab stick. He made an extra one and I tried to feed those cooled cooked livers to him and he just snarled up his lip and nose like I was trying to feed him a pile of poo.
