@Teslin yes they can, if its been discussed with their partner and agreement achieved - not unilaterally, or cheating behind their partner's back....

@VeronicaJane I 100% agree. It is something both parties need to agree on BEFORE going into a relationship.
@Teslin I agree that it's best to do so at start, but sometimes people's inclination might change later. The important part is to discuss with their partner and agreement achieved - BEFORE stepping out.

@Teslin his wife passes away a few weeks ago after 9 months of battling a bad cancer.
I felt I will be selfish if I told him what to do with his life.
Now I lost trust and respect kind of. I can’t risk getting any std at my age or any age. His other partner has a boyfriend and I don’t know who else she sleeps with or he sleeps with. So I am off limits for now, like I said I lost trust in him as well.
