I remember when I was a lil kid, there was this girl I used to be mean to sometimes

All I did was tell her she was fat and stuff like that. One teacher one time noticed and he said to her, I give you permission to slap him if he does it again. What do you think of that?

I think the little girl SHOULD have slapped you jk

That’s not really an appropriate punishment advising a student to assault another. she should have wrote you up or sent you to the principals office

@DeluxedEdition right? I mean, am not saying what I did was like, super polite or anything, it was wrong but I was a little kid like 9 or something, I needed guidance and to be taught manners not slapped, hehe

@DeluxedEdition now that I look back at it, I'm like wtf was going on in that teacher's brain proposing violence as the best solution to being disrespected
Telling people they are fat is terrible. I developed anorexia at 11 because people did that to me and I still haven’t recovered and I’m almost 26 😭 she should have slapped you

@MorbidCynic well yeah, that's a fair point, I went through a lot of bullying myself and yeah, most teachers didn't care. Although it was more serious stuff, not just me getting called names.

Eh, either way, just wanted to get y'all's opinion, I still think it wasn't good on the teacher to suggest violence, specially if he noticed the behavior, should have reprimanded me in some other more civilized manner, not teaching girls it's okay to hit guys if they're disrespectful, as not everyone will take it
@Andromedanian to me the insults were very serious. I was already being abused at home. So when a boy threatened to rape me (middle school boys are the worst) despite not knowing I was being abused at home, I lost my crap. Words can cause long lasting damage. Especially if you are doing it without the knowledge of what’s going behind closed doors. People really underestimate that. I suppose ig wasn’t appropriate for a professional. Even as an adult though, I think what some people really need is a good ass kicking.

@MorbidCynic Dang, yes well, I mean, I agree that is definitelly crossing the line, I'd never say that to anyone, in any scenario, let alone just to bully them. I agree with you almost entirely, still think the teacher's response was far from professional but yeah, bullying sucks. I do have my own share of psychological traume that probably originated from bullying and rejection.
In middle school, I smashed a kids face in a brick wall for calling me fat
