I don't think romantic relationships are supposed to be fulfilling

Ultimately your drive for one is just a side effect of being pushed to reproduce by your unconscious.

It's the most basic drive of all animals. Don't all relationships TRULY begin with lust?

Then there's all this media about how to make your marriage work etc etc. But nature doesn't have any interest in conforming to your idea of having a partner that completes you. Nature's design was for you to fuck and have kids. The end. Everything else besides that end is artificial I am starting to think.

That being said I don't like kids very much. So that puts me in an interesting position. I basically will never be fulfilled romantically. 🤷‍♂

I haven't completely developed this idea just I am starting to pretty recently.

Love is the way we attract is hardly based on lust. But you cN be in love and lust, or love and not lust.
