It wasn't really planned as a date, but our friends wound up ditching us on the quad and we were just spending time together. She was picking onions out of her salad while I was geeking out over the next Marvel movie. A few years later, we met up for coffee and stared up again. Sucks that she left, but happy for the time I had with her.
