What women want

I was reminded of the show "Love on the Spectrum" when I saw this image:

First off, this whole man is one huge ew for a plethora of reasons. If you really want to know why, just ask in the comments.

But it reminded me of one of the women on the tv show who was originally using apps to meet men.

Her biggest complaint was that men always chose pictures of them hunting or fishing. In their hunting gear or holding their prized catch. And she would literally swipe left saying, "Hunting. Hunting, Fishing. Hunting. Hunting". She said at least 80% of the profiles had pictures of hunting or fishing.

And she's right. That's the perfect way to find friends on Bumbl who you want to hunt or fish with. It's a terrible way to find a woman.

That isn't to say that no woman likes to hunt or fish, because that isn't true.

To make that a prominent part of your dating profile says a lot more about you than you think it does.

What your hunting/fishing picture says to her, if she is interested in self preservation is:

You have guns
You have no problem taking a life
You have no problem with using violence when it serves your needs
Compassion may not be your strong point
You are probably going to be MIA in a relationship during any open hunting season or fishing trips (this could also mean infidelity as you may be unable to be reached)
Problem resolution may be dangerous

I know what it says to men. It's something you enjoy and take pride in. It doesn't translate like that though.

Now, I personally am not into hunters unless it is done only for the meat and not for trophies or taxidermy. Some women aren't into that at all. So if you are wanting a partner to hunt or fish with, by all means! Post the pics! Otherwise, it may be worth it to leave that as a word in the hobbies section.

Yes women often only look at things through their own values and ideas and can't or are not willing or caring what others like and for what reasons they have their ideas and that's all that counts. Have no interest in what a man likes unless she is into it.

@Bonby I see that your most recent post was complaining that you give and answer and being blocked for that answer.

I don't know how you don't see the reason for that based on your comment here. But the blocking will be repeated until you realize the problem is you.

@FoxyQueen lol because I answered honestly how I see that?

@Bonby Yep. You put yourself into the post and didn't bother to read the actual post. You already decided it was anti-man and decided to post a comment that wasn't needed, but managed to prove that you are someone a self preserving woman will avoid.

I have blocked this user but haven't deleted his comments so that they can remain a testament to what women deal with on the daily.

No where did I ever say that a woman wasn't interested in the hobbies and interests of a potential partner. I said why these specific interests, hunting and fishing, can be a red flag.

I think someone is bitter and unable to grow themselves up to be a better person.

@Bonby Nah there's a lot of truth to men that hunt being rude and violent. As a man you may never realize what other men are like, when they're in private company of a woman. A lot of men behave like two completely different people, depending on whether they're talking with their friends, or with a woman.

I don't think this applies to fishing though, at least not in my experience.

@Saage Fishing may be different simply because it is a peaceful relaxing hobby and a lot catch and release. You can't do that hunting.

Just like you are here?
Ever give it any thought that they think differently than men?
I'm not convinced you read the whole post? ... imho
