If someone cheats on you while you are dating
Is it ok to try to work things out or should you always end it?

My very first boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend while I was gone for the summer. I was 16. It's the most horrible feeling in the world, to KNOW that two people who are supposed to care about you are lying to you and going behind your back.
TRUST in any relationship is so important that REAL love can't exist without it. Cheaters are greedy people who want their cake and eat it, too. They are liars. That usually doesn't change.
You are VERY young, and I assume the person you are dating is also very young. If you are dating a man, then he is still in that phase of male life where he wants to pollinate ALL the flowers and doesn't want to settle on one.
If you want to stay with him, fine...just realize you will be hurt by him as he continues to do what he will always do.
