Would a guy take his time in getting to know you initially?

What i mean is you guys dont talk. Is that a prime example of someone who doesnt like you? I dont know how to process this

He may not be interested, very possible. You will know if he doesn't call you back for another date. He may also be hung up on someone else, and dating you feels like cheating to him, but he doesn't want to tell you.
