They don’t really care about them. They want to feel smug and superior and bring others down to their level and control them in most cases.

@robbie2499 sometimes people have bad days and get frustrated enough to lash out at others. But if they make a habit out of it and have no remorse it becomes a pattern that they are doing it deliberately.
